More G.H. for Robertson

Clive Robertson (Simon, ex. Ben/Derek, BEACH) is sticking around GH for a while longer. According to insiders, he might be signed to a contract. "It was really just supposed to be a cameo," reports the actor. "I only got the first script yesterday of the new shows that I'm doing. I have six more lined up and I suspect there will be more. It's very exciting."

When Robertson joined GH in July it was for a short stint as a record producer for the shows all-girl pop-group. "It's all a bit of a nice surprise, actually," he smiles. "It's funny, because when they asked me about the role, it was out of the blue, I wasn't even thinking of [returning to soaps]."

But now, with an extended run on the show, Robertson can't help but contemplate settling into Port Charles permanently. "I've had a really nice experience doing the shows that I've done, so I woiuld think about it - no question," he admits. "They've all made me fell very at home. It's a nice environment to work in, I have to say."

Although Robertson can't reveal what's in store for his character, rumours abound that a Simon/Lois romance is in the works. "How do they know?" he jokes. "To be honest I know nothing. It's very early so I don't know what they have in store for my character in the future. I've only had the chance to read one script, and it seems like the story is going in a good direction. But it's very hush hush (laughs)."

A GH spokesperson says, "There is no lass airdate for Robertson. He will be on for a bit longer."
